Job summary
CT State Community College seeks a Campus Director of Information Technology to lead campus IT services, supervise technical staff, and manage the local technology budget. The role requires collaboration with enterprise IT leaders to deliver aligned technology solutions that support teaching and operations.
You will oversee enterprise shared services, ensure incident resolution, and participate in strategic planning for campus technology needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technological discipline with three (3)+ years of experience in computer system, network and software design, development and implementation and one (1)+ years of supervision.
- Experience leading a technical staff and collaborating with multiple stakeholders in a complex organization.
Responsibilities
- Supervise campus-based IT staff and enterprise technology services.
- Oversee campus IT operations and budget management.
- Coordinate with enterprise IT leaders to align campus goals with enterprise strategy.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and business continuity for campus IT.
- Ensure high-level customer service and incident resolution via the CSCU service desk.
- Collaborate with vendors and regional IT teams on technology deployments.
