Job summary

The University of North Georgia in Dahlonega is seeking a part-time Intramural Sports Official Student Assistant. This Institutional Student Worker will report to the Campus Recreation & Wellness Intramural Sports Coordinator and help run the intramural program safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities include officiating games, enforcing rules, attending trainings, providing customer service, handling pre/post game duties, and maintaining equipment.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours.
• Must have a strong interest in sports, with prior experience in competing or officiating.
• CPR/First Aid Certification (or willing to obtain upon employment).

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of all patrons.
• Officiating sports events.
• Wear proper attire as dictated by the role.
• Attend training and review sessions.
• Provide customer service.
• Pre and post game preparations and duties.
• Maintain sports equipment and log usage.
• Assist with promoting fitness, recreation and wellness programs.
