Job summary

New-College-of-Florid seeks an Internship & External Relations Coordinator to support internship programming, large-scale career events, and the Professional Experience by Design: Internship course. You will bridge campus and community by helping students prepare for internships while actively building relationships with external employers, alumni, and community partners.

The Coordinator will report to the Assistant Director of Internship Programming and will receive mentorship focused on

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a graduate program related to Higher Education, Student Affairs, Counseling, Education, or a related field.
• Strong organizational, communication, and facilitation skills.
• Interest in career development, access initiatives, and applied learning.
• Ability to work collaboratively with students, faculty, and campus partners.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate centralized internship course activities, enrollment tracking, approvals, and learning agreements.
• Deliver internship readiness workshops and develop student resources.
• Plan and execute major Career Center events and external relations activities.
• Create CPT/OPT informational sessions for international students and provide outreach materials.
• Maintain participation records and assist with surveys and data analysis for program assessment.
