Job summary

Ysleta Independent School District seeks an on-site instructional coach to support teachers and campus leadership in aligning curriculum with district initiatives. You will train staff in Math/Science and Reading/Language Arts/Social Studies, analyze student data, and coordinate district supplemental programs to raise achievement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Texas Teacher Certificate required relevant to the grade levels served.
• Three years of classroom teaching experience.
• Working knowledge of curriculum and instruction to increase student achievement.
• Ability to evaluate instructional programs and coordinate supplemental district programs.
• Ability to interpret policy, procedures and data.
• Strong organizational, communication, computer, and public relations skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site instructional coaching to teachers in PLCs and support alignment of content.
• Lead staff training for Math/Science and Reading/Language Arts/Social Studies initiatives.
• Assist in collecting and analyzing student performance data and place students in RTI/504/GT programs.
• Coordinate staff development and district initiatives during faculty meetings and professional development days.
• Collaborate with teachers and administrators to plan and evaluate supplemental instructional programs.
• Maintain auditable schedules and detailed records of duties and extra duties.
• Provide differentiated instructional support and leverage technology to aid at-risk students.
• Monitor campus resources usage and support instructional initiatives like CCR and tutoring.
• Attend trainings and implement district instructional programs at campus level.
• Maintain records for administrative reporting and stay compliant with policies.
