Student Worker - Financial Aid

The Blinn College District is searching for a Student Worker - Financial Aid at our Brenham Campus.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities are listed below:

Job Summary

Provide customer service to students for the financial aid, veteran services, and scholarships office. Responsible for various job duties performed within the financial aid office to ensure compliance with U.S. Department of Education and Blinn College's policies.

Principal Accountabilities

• Provide front-end customer service assistance to students, including answering financial aid questions, responding to financial aid phone calls and emails, and referring higher level financial aid questions to the appropriate full-time team member.
• Clerical duties, including the organization and filing of documents, accepting student financial aid documents and either scanning them in or ensuring they are received by the appropriate full-time team member.
• Additional duties as assigned by the department, which may include the cleaning or reorganization of the office file room, receive mail orders, or assist full-time staff with various financial aid tasks.

Minimum Qualifications/ Required Degree, License or Certifications

Must be work study eligible.
