Auburn University Facilities Management is seeking a motivated HVACR Technician (2nd shift) to support the campus through preventive maintenance of HVACR systems. Qualifications

• High School diploma and 2 years of HVACR technician experience.
• Valid Driver's License and Universal Refrigerant Card within 90 days.
• Some college/Associate's Degree in HVAC and 5 years of HVACR technician experience (Level II).

Responsibilities

• Performs installation, replacement, or repairs to HVACR equipment including refrigeration, air conditioning, heating units, boilers and related components.
• Plans and executes major HVACR repair projects and leads emergency repairs.
• Inspects and troubleshoots HVACR systems to evaluate status and plan repairs.
• Oversees and plans work orders using the AIM system to prioritize and schedule tasks.
• May serve in on-call status and must be able to return to the site within 45 minutes.
