Hillsborough Community College is seeking a skilled HVAC technician to operate and maintain heating and cooling systems across its facilities. The role involves monitoring via the Energy Management System, performing preventive maintenance, and assisting with building repairs.

The ideal candidate has vocational training beyond high school or a GED and at least two years of related experience. A Level II background check will be required after selection.

Qualifications

• Vocational or other technical school training beyond high school or GED.
• Two years of prior-related work experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsabilités

• Operates and monitors HVAC equipment using the Energy Management System.
• Performs preventive maintenance and repairs of equipment.
• Monitors and inspects conditions of buildings and equipment with walk-throughs.
• Performs general maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, and building tasks.
• Provides support to contractors as needed.
• Orders and/or picks up supplies as needed.
• Performs other similar and related duties as assigned.
