Qualifications

• 3+ years of HVAC service or related maintenance experience.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing HVAC equipment and troubleshooting failures.
• EPA 608 Certification is required.
• Ability to read work orders and document repairs clearly.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC, refrigeration, heating, and air conditioning systems.
• Charge refrigerant systems and perform HVAC repairs as needed.
• Install, test, operate, and maintain HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Change air filters, clean units, and complete preventive maintenance tasks.
• Process work orders and PM tasks through CMMS/TMA.
• Inspect equipment for proper operation and identify issues before failures.
• Calibrate and maintain pneumatic controls and related equipment.
• Clean air handlers, ducts, and related HVAC components.
• Respond to emergency HVAC and facility maintenance requests.
• Maintain maintenance records and equipment logs.
• Maintain inventory of parts and tools; coordinate with supervisors and trades.
• Work safely around electrical and mechanical systems following PPE rules.
• Coordinate repairs with supervisors and other trades; provide service to campus staff.
