Job summary

Tri-County Technical College in South Carolina seeks a dedicated HVAC instructor to teach courses in the classroom and via distance learning, design and develop curricula, and evaluate student performance.

The successful candidate will master the refrigeration cycle, read residential and commercial diagrams, instruct on PPE, troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment, and teach at the Pendleton and Oconee Campus with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in HVAC or a related program.
• Strong understanding of the refrigeration cycle and PPE usage in HVAC.
• Ability to teach in-person and distance learning with clear outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Teach HVAC courses at Pendleton and Oconee campuses.
• Design and develop HVAC courses and curriculum.
• Evaluate student performance and advise students.
• Travel for professional development (conferences/workshops).
• Collaborate with other HVAC faculty to develop the program.
