Qualifications

Associate’s degree in HVAC/R or related skilled trade field and three (3) years of experience, or five (5) years of HVAC industry experience including training or mentoring new employees.
Bachelor's degree in Education with formal training in HVAC/R and three (3) years of teaching in the classroom or in industry.

Responsibilities

Teach HVAC courses with effective communication and student interaction.
Prepare instructional materials and ensure lab readiness; evaluate progress.
Keep student records and adhere to course schedules.
Broad knowledge of residential HVAC installation, troubleshooting and repair.
Assist Program Director with lab supplies and equipment needs.
Courses: HVAC Electrical Ops, Refrigeration Cycle Ops, Heat Pump Ops, Air Flow Design, Meas. & Diagnostics, EPA 608 Prep, Brazing, Customer Service.
