Job summary

New Mexico Highlands University seeks an Apartment Manager/ Housing Aide to oversee a 32-unit student housing complex on the Las Vegas campus. The role supports daily operations and helps create a safe, welcoming living environment for students.

Duties include routine data entry, answering phones, filing confidential information, coordinating maintenance requests, performing monthly inspections and fire drills, and maintaining contact with the Director of Housing.

Qualifications

• Education: NMHU student enrolled with a minimum of six (6) credits; High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Routine data entry; Answering phones; Greeting customers; Handling confidential information; Maintain regular attendance; Perform other duties as assigned.
• Knows emergency procedures and responds to emergencies; Conducts monthly inspections and fire drills; Initiates maintenance requests and follows up; Maintains communications with Housing Director.
