Job summary

Community College of Allegheny County seeks a Sr. Skilled Maintenance Worker to maintain and repair campus facilities across Main Campus. The role requires expertise in multiple trades, adherence to safety trainings and a valid driver's license.

Work hours are standard college hours with potential evenings/weekends. Fully in-person at CCAC locations. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED with vocational/apprenticeship certification.

Qualifications

• Must read, understand and apply blueprints, drawings and schematics.
• Ability to operate a variety of complex equipment.
• Regular and timely attendance required.
• Ability to travel to any CCAC campus or center.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service to internal and external customers.
• May perform skilled-maintenance duties in multiple trades (electric, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, landscaping).
• Plans, installs, maintains and repairs electrical and related equipment; performs preventative maintenance.
• Plans, installs, troubleshoots and maintains plumbing systems and HVAC equipment.
• Installs structures, repairs, paints, and maintains facilities to support campus operations.
