Job summary

Gettysburg College is seeking a full-time Housekeeper in the Facilities Services Department. The role supports campus cleanliness in residence halls Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm, with mandatory overtime during peak periods.

Responsibilities include maintaining safe, clean facilities for students and a warm campus environment. Benefits and a commitment to a Great Place to Work are offered.

Qualifications

• Basic reading and writing abilities.
• Demonstrated physical condition and ability to lift 10–20 pounds, up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Valid driver's license or ability to obtain one.
• Experience with floor equipment preferred or willing to learn.
• Some scheduling flexibility may be required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain residence hall buildings in a clean and safe condition.
• Work Monday through Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm with overtime during busy periods.
• Support campus facilities operations and access campus amenities as needed.
