Qualifications

• Prior cooking experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Reads menu to estimate food requirements and orders from supplier or storage.
• Prepares and cooks food according to recipes and production records.
• Adjusts oven/heat controls to regulate temperatures as directed.
• Measures and mixes ingredients using kitchen utensils and equipment.
• Bakes, roasts, broils, steams, and seasons foods as instructed.
• Tests food for doneness by tasting, smell, and appearance; portions and garnishes as directed.
• Maintains sanitation and safety in kitchen; interacts courteously with staff and customers.
