University of California - Davis seeks a Risk and Prevention Specialist to oversee alcohol and other drug risk reduction initiatives and a collegiate recovery program. You will design campus-wide health promotion using policy and practice changes to boost student health and success.

The role emphasizes harm reduction, sober-curiosity approaches, and trauma-informed inclusion, addressing health disparities among marginalized groups. It is a 100% on-site position at UC Davis in Davis, CA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social sciences, health sciences, psychology, public health, counseling, or related field or equivalent experience/training.
• Experience developing and assessing health promotion efforts related to collegiate recovery and AOD risk reduction.
• Understanding of environmental change, behavior change theories and applying them to college students.
• Experience training and supervising student employees and volunteers.

• Develop and implement programs and interventions at individual, community, organizational and policy levels.
• Evaluate effectiveness of health promotion initiatives.
