Job summary

Awaken Church is seeking a Charleston Campus Guest Services Director to implement its mission and vision on Sundays and throughout campus life. The role focuses on building a strong volunteer culture, coordinating guest connections, and ensuring a high-quality campus experience aligned with Awaken Church values.

The position emphasizes leadership development, volunteer onboarding, and collaboration with the Campus Pastor to drive assimilation, next steps, and discipleship pathways for attendees

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years vocational ministry experience related to volunteer development, guest connections, and/or process management.
• Ability and experience managing and developing leaders.
• Experience with people based management softwares and databases.
• High school diploma required, higher ed degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow the Guest Services Team to empower people to Discover Their Purpose and Make A Difference at Awaken Church.
• Mobilize the Guest Services Dream Team to provide an excellent Sunday morning experience.
• Recruit and lead volunteer teams to perform weekly functions.
• Manage onboarding processes and develop workshop content for team health and growth.
• Facilitate the completion of "Sunday ready" duties for Sunday experience excellence.
• Partner with the Campus Pastor to drive next steps and assimilation processes for new attendees and existing members.
• Oversee campus facility excellence and resource stewardship to support a high standard of operations.
• Take on additional delegated campus responsibilities as needed with formal addenda as directed.
• Uphold general responsibilities such as professionalism, integrity, and timely execution of duties.
