Job summary

Our Lady of the Lake University is seeking a Grounds Maintenance role to keep campus grounds, roads, and sidewalks in excellent condition. The ideal candidate will assist with irrigation installation and maintenance, as well as basic carpentry, plumbing, and ceiling tile tasks.

The position requires working outdoors, following EPA and OSHA safety standards, and readiness to support emergency responses as needed. A valid Texas driver’s license and one year of experience are mandatory.

Qualifications

• One year of ground maintenance experience is required.
• Must have a valid Texas driver’s license and a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Maintain campus grounds, sidewalks, roads, and outdoor construction sites.
• Assist in installation and maintenance of irrigation systems.
• Assist in carpentry, plumbing, drywall, and ceiling tile tasks.
• Perform work in EPA and OSHA safety standards.
• Coordinate with trades and supervise as needed.
• Assist in emergency response situations.
