Job summary

The University of Texas at Arlington is seeking a Groundskeeper to perform routine landscape and grounds maintenance across campus. You will operate standard groundskeeping equipment, assist with irrigation and water features, and support campus events with plant setups and related tasks.

Essential duties include trimming and pruning, mulching, litter removal, and safe operation of equipment in all weather conditions. Valid Texas driver license with a clean MVR is required.

Qualifications

• Valid Texas driver license and acceptable 3-year Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Experience in grounds maintenance and operation of power equipment preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mow, edge, trim, prune, mulch, water and perform landscape maintenance to campus lawns, plants and trees.
• Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment and power tools; assist with larger equipment as needed.
• Maintain campus cleanliness and safety; report irrigation issues and pests; support events with plant set-ups and related tasks.
