Job summary

Butler Community College is seeking a Grounds Technician to maintain grounds, roads, walkways and outdoor athletic facilities, and to move furniture and supplies between off-campus sites. The role reports to the Roads and Grounds Supervisor and offers a generous benefits package.

The position is full time with a pay rate of $16.25/hr. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid Kansas driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds while operating grounds

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Kansas driver’s license required.
• Experience in grounds maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds, roads, walkways and outside athletic facilities.
• Move furniture and supplies and transport materials between sites.
• Operate grounds equipment and perform related maintenance.
• Assist with emergencies and outside tasks as needed.
