Job summary

Benedictine College in Atchison, KS is seeking a Grounds Specialist to maintain campus lawns, landscapes and athletic fields. You will perform mowing, trimming, fertilizing, and general landscape maintenance under the Grounds Supervisor, with a focus on quality and safety.

This full-time role requires a valid driver's license, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and flexibility for weather conditions. Work hours are 7am–3:30pm or 6am–2:30pm, with biweekly pay starting at $20 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Maintain campus lawns, landscapes, and sports fields to high professional standards.
• Perform mowing, trimming, fertilization, weed control, and aeration.
• Snow removal in winter and winter maintenance as needed.
• Operate equipment (e.g., zero-turn mower, Bobcat skid steer) and learn safety procedures.
