Job summary

Great Plains Technology Center is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Worker to support a safe, clean, and well-maintained campus environment in Lawton.

The position is part-time, 12 months, reports to Grounds and Maintenance Supervisor, and pays $15.00 per hour. Requires a high school diploma or equivalency; duties include mowing, trimming, operating equipment, maintaining sprinkler systems, and assisting with building maintenance as needed. Evening or weekend hours may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in grounds maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates grounds maintenance equipment to mow, trim, prune, and perform related landscaping work.
• Operates a backhoe and forklift
• Cleans and maintains grounds maintenance equipment
• Maintains the lawn sprinkler system
• Assists with building maintenance and other operational needs as assigned
• Performs other duties as assigned
