Job summary

The Grounds Department at Oberlin College invites applications for Grounds Worker II. This is a full-time, 40-hour per week position with a 12-month service employee status, reporting to the Grounds Services Manager. Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm.

Responsibilities include turf and landscape maintenance, equipment operation, safety compliance, and project support. A valid Ohio driver’s license and pesticide license within 12 months are required, with benefits included.

Qualifications

• Two years of grounds-related work experience is required.
• Must possess a valid Ohio driver's license and meet insurability standards.
• Willingness to attend trainings to improve job skills and safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily grounds duties and horticulture tasks around campus.
• Operate a wide range of grounds equipment and perform maintenance as needed.
• Follow safety policies, complete work orders, and support events as required.
