Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.

• Certification to operate CMU Motorized Utility Vehicle within 6 months of hire.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and follow directions.
• Strong communication and positive professional image.

Responsibilities

• Perform mowing, edging, trimming, fertilizing, seeding, watering, aerating, and other landscape care tasks.
• Prune and care for trees, shrubs, and hedges; remove plant material as needed.
• Maintain landscape beds with weeding, pruning, and mulching.
• Install and maintain irrigation systems and drive safe operation of equipment.
• Coordinate with team and other trades on campus grounds projects.
• Operate snow/ice control equipment during winter events.
