Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance or related manual labor.
• Thorough knowledge of general gardening and grounds maintenance methods.

Responsibilities

• Perform a broad range of groundskeeping duties including planting, cultivating, fertilizing, watering, and spraying ornamental plants, shrubs, hedges, trees, lawns and flowers.
• Mow, edge, rake leaves and clean trash from assigned areas including parking lots.
• Prepare and treat soils for planting; operate and maintain grounds equipment and tools; follow safety procedures.
• Assist with pruning, tree/shrub support construction, and occasional sprinkler repair.
• Maintain clean work stations and proper storage of tools and equipment.
• Possess physical stamina to lift and move loads and work in varying weather conditions.
