Job summary

Reynolds Community College seeks a Grounds Maintenance Supervisor to oversee landscaping across all campuses. The role combines hands-on grounds work with leadership, planning, training, and equipment management under the Facilities Manager.

You will recruit and supervise staff, ensure safety standards, manage budgets, and coordinate with campus operations to maintain attractive, safe landscapes. Essential personnel duties apply during weather events and emergencies.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Strong background or training in grounds maintenance or horticulture preferred.
• 3+ years of supervision experience preferred.
• Category ltt, A and B, and VI Spray License preferred.
• Erosion and sediment control certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement landscape zoning and maintenance schedules.
• Supervise daily grounds operations and staff.
• Inspect campus grounds and identify maintenance needs.
• Maintain grounds equipment and college vehicles; ensure safety and operability.
• Order supplies, materials, equipment, and services within budget; follow procurement guidelines.
