Job summary

Delta State University is seeking a Groundskeeper III to maintain campus grounds, sports fields, and the golf course. The role involves operating a variety of power equipment, planting and renovating landscapes, and supervising fellow crew members.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Operate power equipment for campus grounds maintenance, including fields, golf course, and gardens.
Assist with training and supervision of crew members.
Picks up trash and debris from campus grounds and removes it by approved methods.
Mow lawns, trim around beds, walls, walks, and edges.
Plant new landscapes and renovate existing areas per plans.
Apply fertilizers and pesticides, water lawns, and maintain irrigation as needed.
Maintain safety and cleanliness of grounds, roads, and walkways.
