Job summary

Walnut Hill School for the Arts in Natick, MA, is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain buildings and grounds including planting, mowing, and general upkeep for campus facilities and events.

The role supports the facilities team year-round, with regular hours 7:00 am–3:30 pm, and requires a valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a hoisting license within 90 days. Competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of landscaping experience.
• Knowledge of landscaping, equipment maintenance, and repair techniques.
• Ability to safely operate power and hand tools and equipment.
• Knowledge of safety codes, regulations, and procedures.
• Valid driver’s license; willingness to obtain 2A/1C hoisting license within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform groundskeeping and building maintenance.
• Mow lawns and edge around beds and walls.
• Plantings, seeding, watering, mulching, and pruning as directed.
• Prune trees and shrubs as needed.
• Monitor grounds and remove debris and hazards.
• Shovel/plow snow, apply salt/de-ice as needed.
• Perform minor repairs on groundskeeping equipment.
• Assist facilities team with events, move-in/out, and cleaning.
• Accept other duties assigned by supervisor.
