Moraine Park Technical College is seeking a full-time Buildings & Grounds Maintenance Worker for the Fond du Lac Campus. The role involves general maintenance, grounds care, shipping/receiving, and quick response to emergencies.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with the ability to operate various tools and equipment. The position includes responsibilities such as wall repairs, painting, forklift safety, and collaborating with Facilities team to support campus operations.

• Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and determine repair options for general building issues and safety concerns.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, lock out/tag out, forklift safety.
• Familiarity with software applications, including Microsoft Office 365.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with end users, colleagues, and management.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and promote inclusive work culture.

Responsabilidades

• Perform general maintenance of all buildings, grounds, and equipment as directed.
• Operate equipment for grounds maintenance, lawn care, weed control, pest management, and snow removal.
• Manage shipping/receiving for the campus; unload, verify, and route shipments to Finance for payment.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness in maintenance, shipping/receiving, and surplus areas.
• Carry out wall repairs, drywall, painting, and furniture assembly as needed.
• Respond to emergencies and assist with building alarms and safety checks.
