Job summary

The University at Buffalo's Office of Campus Planning seeks a dedicated geospatial professional to maintain the university's spatial information and architectural floor plans to support campus planning, reporting, and design efforts.

The role will oversee campus-wide GIS datasets, including the official basemap, and will require accuracy and collaboration across divisions to support UB's mission as a flagship SUNY institution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, Urban Planning or Architecture with 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting ESRI ArcGIS Pro and Indoors datasets.
• Demonstrated experience using AutoCAD.
• Experience managing large datasets with accuracy and consistency.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain spatial information required for planning and reporting across UB.
• Oversee campus-wide GIS datasets, including the official basemap.
• Ensure data quality and consistency across datasets used by multiple campus units.
