University at Buffalo is seeking a Geospatial Data Coordinator to maintain and enhance the university’s spatial information. You will manage architectural drawings, campus basemaps, and GIS datasets, coordinating across departments to support planning, reporting, and decision making.

The role involves implementing ArcGIS Indoors, transitioning from 2D AutoCAD to Revit, and collaborating with facilities and planning teams to ensure data quality and accuracy across UB’s campus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geography, Geographic Information Systems, Urban Planning, or Architecture with related experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting within ESRI ArcGIS Pro software and ArcGIS Indoors datasets.
• Demonstrated experience using Autodesk AutoCAD.
• Demonstrated experience managing large datasets while assuring consistency and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills are required.

Responsabilités

• Maintain spatial information and architectural floor plans for university facilities.
• Manage and update the official campus basemap and GIS datasets.
• Coordinate with internal/external teams on renovations and capital projects to update data systems.
• Review construction data to update room numbers, geometry, greenspace, and routes.
• Transition architectural drawing inventory from 2D AutoCAD to Revit.
• Implement ArcGIS Indoors across the campus.
• Foster collaboration to promote data quality for decision making.
• Support UB's goals through operational excellence and superior facilities.
