American University is seeking an undergraduate student to assist with front office communication, admin duties, and event planning in the College of Arts & Sciences. This part-time role is available only to enrolled students with a Federal Work Study award.

The position includes designing graphics with Canva, growing Instagram presence, and coordinating communications with faculty. Office tasks use Microsoft 365; prior office experience is helpful.

Qualificações

• Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
• Ability to multi-task and work independently in a Student role.
• FWS eligibility and active award required.

Responsabilidades

• Elicit and organize communications content from faculty members.
• Design engaging graphics for newsletters, events and social media content using Canva and other tools.
• Manage and grow our Instagram presence through creative posts and stories.
• Collaborate with the team to organize and manage department events.
• Other administrative tasks using Microsoft 365 apps.
