Job summary

Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services is hiring for FOOD UNIT LEAD positions in Florence, AL. We offer full-time and part-time schedules, Monday–Friday, 9:00 am–5:30 pm, with online applications accepted. Pay ranges from $14.00 to $14.50 per hour, with prior food service and supervisory experience preferred.

Training is available and interview details will be provided. Location: One Harrison Plaza, Florence, AL 35632, near the University of North Alabama.

Qualifications

• Prior food service and supervisory experience is preferred.
• Experience in a university dining environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates activities of other food-service employees.
• Oversees preparation and service of food and beverages per company standards.
• Helps plan menus and ensures timely, efficient meal service.
• Trains employees and coordinates work to promote efficiency and excellence.
• Manages cash handling and daily/weekly/monthly reports.
• Directs sanitation and safety of the facility and employees.
