You will work closely with a manager to supervise and mentor team members, maintain schedules, and handle basic cashier duties as needed. This role requires strong organizational and people skills and may include night and weekend catering events.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions.
• Must complete a sanitation course either before or during first year.
• Must be knowledgeable in operating an efficient cost-effective program.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic.
• Maintain emotional control under stress.
• Ability to resolve interpersonal situations.
• Strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce and maintain work schedules and production packets.
• Direct daily activities.
• Maintain food production to ensure safety and quality.
• Ensure safe, organized storage of food items.
• Maintain serving schedules and follow menu specs.
• Maintain a sanitary department per health codes.
• Maintain weekly inventory.
• Supervise and evaluate employees; promote growth and teamwork.
• Train/mentor other food service workers.
• Maintain equipment maintenance logs.
• Complete food safety/temperature logs with corrective action.
• Perform preventative maintenance checklist.
• Recommend equipment replacements.
• Be capable of multi-tasking.
• Fill in for absent staff when needed.
• Coordinate catering events and ensure timely delivery.
• Attend staff meetings and maintain communication with office staff.
