Chartwells Higher Ed at California State University-San Bernardino is hiring for full-time and part-time Shift Supervisor positions. Location: 5500 University Parkway, San Bernardino, CA 92407. Schedule: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday, 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

Pay: $20.00 to $21.00 per hour. The role involves directing associates during shifts, training, scheduling, evaluating performance, and ensuring quality, productivity and safety.

Qualifications

• Previous food experience and cash-handling skills required, with the ability to lead and train a team.

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of associates during a shift and ensure that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure are maintained.
• Provide training and create work schedules.
• Evaluate performance of workers, reward high performers and discipline underperformers.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure quality, productivity and safety.
• Act as the contact person for employee complaints or time off requests.
• Mentor and develop employees and encourage advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
