Job summary

Chattanooga State Community College is seeking a part-time Food Service Worker on the Chattanooga State Campus to prepare and serve foods in a variety of service environments. Duties include stocking, cashiering where needed, and maintaining cleanliness and safety throughout shift.

Starting pay is $12.00 per hour with opportunities to perform cashier duties and support during daily operations under the direction of the Food Service Director.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or accredited GED required.
• At least one year of experience directly related to duties specified.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and stock foods for the needs of the community, adhering to safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Replenish foods, silverware, plates, cutlery, dishes, trays, and condiments at serving stations.
• Clean, wash, and maintain work areas, including floors, facilities, pots, pans, and equipment.
• Assist in cashiering duties as required and help with day-to-day equipment issues.
