Chartwells Higher Ed is hiring immediately for full-time and part-time FOOD SERVICE UTILITY positions at American University in Washington, DC. Responsibilities include maintaining clean kitchen areas, washing surfaces, and supporting setup and delivery of supplies.

Prior high-volume food service experience is preferred, with a pay rate of $25.00 per hour. The role offers stable schedules with variations by business needs, and accommodates growth opportunities within a campus dining program.

Competenze

• Prior high-volume food service experience preferred.
• Ability to maintain sanitation and safety standards.

Mansioni

• Sweeps and mops floors to meet safety and sanitation standards.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators and other prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and handles waste disposal.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Assists with banquet setup and front-of-house arrangements.
• Loads/unloads and delivers supplies as needed.
• Distributes utensils and portable equipment.
• Adheres to outlined sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
