Job summary

Lansing Community College is seeking Student Employees to staff its Fitness & Wellness Facilities. This in-person role supports reception, member check-in, information referrals, and service desk tasks across campus locations.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, answering phones and emails, and assisting with cleaning, laundry, and light staffing duties. Regular campus presence and flexible hours around class schedules are required.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled as a Lansing Community College student and maintain minimum credit hours.
• GPA requirements include 2.0 minimum (or waiver as allowed).
• Actively pursuing a certificate, associates, or undergraduate degree at LCC.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and members, check-in using an access control system, and provide general information about Fitness & Wellness services.
• Respond to emails and phone inquiries, and refer to campus departments when needed.
• Sanitize equipment, clean facilities, and assist with laundry, stocking, and related duties.
• Maintain a professional, welcoming environment and work effectively with students, instructors, and staff.
