Job summary

Cal Poly Humboldt is seeking a Farm Coordinator to lead daily farm operations, coordinate learning spaces, and support CASA program activities. You will oversee fieldwork, crop planning, and student supervision in collaboration with faculty and the Dean.

The role involves hands-on farm management, equipment and irrigation oversight, and coordination with partners such as Oh Snap and Chartwells to ensure timely harvests and deliveries.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to 60 semester or 90 quarter units of academic work in agriculture/science.
• Three years of progressively responsible experience in production of field, garden, vegetable or specialty crops.
• Experience with coordinating volunteers and farm operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day farm operations and manage farm sites.
• Oversee equipment, facilities, irrigation, and safety compliance.
• Provide work direction to student employees and volunteers; manage procurement and paperwork.
