Job summary

Kennesaw State University is seeking a supervisory Facility Attendant to support daily operations of assigned facilities within the Division of Student Affairs. You will oversee attendants, maintain security, coordinate event setup, and ensure high-quality customer service across facilities.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and 6 months of relevant facility experience; familiarity with KSU recreation facilities is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six (6) months of relevant work experience or at least one (1) year of student employment experience with a focus on facility management.
• Familiarity with the KSU recreation facilities, programs and services.
• An undergraduate or advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Assists with shift duties, including overseeing, delegating, and documenting the attendants working within assigned areas.
• Maintains daily facility operations, security, and risk management, such as providing emergency care, performing building inspections, and reporting door issues.
• Supports the operation and mission of the department/division by completing additional tasks as assigned by the Manager or Coordinator of assigned areas.
• Produces reports and forms including but not limited to Shift Reports, Facility Work Orders and Accident Reports.
• Assists with the orientation and oversight of assigned students.
• Assists in other program areas assigned.
• Acts as a point of contact for facility and group reservations.
• Performs activity space event set‑up and breakdown.
• Performs excellent customer service concerning departmental facilities, programs and services.
• Responds to inquiries concerning departmental facilities, programs and services in a timely and professional manner.
