Job summary

ASU is seeking a Skilled Crafts and Trade Assistant 1 Non-Exempt to support trades teams on the Tempe campus, with potential assignments at other campuses as needed. The role involves assisting with repairs, installations, and material handling in residential facilities services.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, works Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and pays $20.05 per hour with ASU benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting with installing fixtures (e.g., faucets, toilets, thermostats).
• General maintenance and residential facilities knowledge.
• Basic computer applications: Word, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Assist trades technicians with daily activities in Residential Facilities Services.
• Assist in repairs and material/equipment transport to job sites.
• Clean and minor repair of equipment; perform job site cleanup.
