Job summary

Anderson Center for Autism is hiring a Facilities Maintenance Technician to keep our Hudson Valley campus clean, safe, and welcoming for students, residents, staff, families, and visitors.

The role covers routine cleaning, minor maintenance tasks, snow removal, and supporting the Operations Department to uphold high standards of cleanliness and safety across the campus. Pay starts at $18.50/hour and goes to $23.13/hour, based on experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in custodial/ environmental services or facilities maintenance preferred.
• Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment and related tools.
• Physically active work including lifting, bending, standing, and walking.
• Valid driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and welcoming environment across campus.
• Perform routine cleaning and sanitation to promote healthy facilities.
• Assist Operations with cleaning projects and routine maintenance tasks.
• Utilize tools and equipment safely to complete assigned work.
• Maintain daily work logs and complete tasks from start to finish.
• Participate in seasonal snow and ice removal and ensure campus safety.
