Job summary

Hillsborough College in Tampa, FL seeks a Facilities & Campus Services Officer to lead the Campus Services unit, overseeing the District Mail Room, Records Retention, Campus Card Program, and the Reception Desk to maintain high service levels.

The role coordinates state-level submissions for new construction/renovation, prepares Educational Plant Surveys and CIP requests, and manages archival storage and department budgets with College leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and at least five years of prior-related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Manages and leads the Campus Services unit at the College which includes the District Mail Room, Records Retention, Campus Card Program and the District Reception Desk. Ensures high levels of customer service and maintains carding records, documentation, retention, and retrievability.
• Serves as College owner of state level submissions, educational specifications for district-wide new construction, renovation, and remodeling projects; prepares Educational Plant Surveys, CIP requests, and the Project Priority List; reviews updates on facilities reporting requirements with the Department of Education and SREF.
• Responsible for archived storage (Iron Mountain) collection for archival purposes; rotates outdated material from storage per policy; manages budgets for the department; backup to the Copy Center manager when needed.
• Verifies Facilities Inventory and maintains the Facilities Inventory Data Base for DOE submissions; leads 25Live administration and supports academic users of 25Live.
• Reviews state utilization reports, assists with requisitions and change orders, project closeout documentation, prepares contracts and related correspondence; responds to audits and public information requests.
• Coordinates facilities correspondence with the Florida Department of Education; inspects buildings and spaces for occupancy; measures square footage and ensures optimal utilization of College facilities.
