Job summary

USC is seeking a Building Services Manager in Los Angeles, CA. You will oversee customer service for students, faculty and external clients; recruit, hire, and train staff; and supervise daily operations of the building and projects to completion.

You will conduct inspections, resolve operations issues, and ensure adherence to campus policies and safety standards while coordinating with Housing Maintenance and Public Safety as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum Experience: 1 year in facilities or building operations.
• Minimum Field of Expertise: Facilities management experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides customer service to students, faculty, staff and external customers and resolves issues.
• Recruits, screens, hires, trains and supervises subordinate staff.
• Schedules and manages projects to completion and prioritizes workloads.
• Manages onsite facility and conducts daily building inspections.
• Coordinates security and safety procedures with campus safety departments.
• Identifies training needs and delivers staff training.
