Job summary

University of Southern California (USC) Athletics is seeking a Facilities Assistant to perform maintenance, repairs, and improvements for athletic facilities and equipment. The role works with facilities managers, event managers, and university partners to keep venues safe, clean, and functional for athletes, staff, and guests.

Ideal candidates will have knowledge of higher education settings and a commitment to NCAA/Big Ten standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent (bachelor's degree or specialized/technical training preferred).
• Five years of combined experience in facilities management, project management, construction, event management, custodial services, trade and/or athletic operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular inspection, maintenance, and repairs of athletics facilities including offices, meeting spaces, training areas, locker rooms, and venues.
• Coordinate and serve as point of contact for facility maintenance projects with campus partners and outside vendors.
• Document and report all facility maintenance work and annual renewal projects.
• Prepare and organize facility reports to be distributed among athletics facilities team and leadership.
