Job summary

Anderson Center for Autism is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to keep our campus clean, safe, and welcoming for students, residents, staff and visitors. You will perform routine cleaning, support minor maintenance tasks, and assist with seasonal operations, contributing to a healthy learning and living environment.

The role requires a strong work ethic, dependability, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in custodial or facilities maintenance preferred.
• Ability to safely operate cleaning and maintenance equipment.
• Physically active work including lifting, bending, and standing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, sanitary, safe, and welcoming environment across campus.
• Perform routine cleaning and sanitation to prevent illness.
• Support the Operations Department with cleaning projects and maintenance tasks.
• Assist with minor maintenance and repair using appropriate tools.
• Maintain tools and equipment and document daily work logs.
• Work independently or with the team to meet departmental goals.
• Participate in seasonal snow and ice removal to keep campus safe.
