Job summary

BASIS Ed is seeking a Campus Maintenance Technician to join our Benbrook team. This role supports repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and safety systems; responds to staff requests; and coordinates vendors for major maintenance projects.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred)
• 2+ years of Facilities & building maintenance experience
• Ability to think critically and implement procedures
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift 25–50 lbs and stand long periods
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines

Responsibilities

• Repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and safety systems
• Respond to staff maintenance requests and provide custodial support
• Coordinate third-party vendors for large repairs and services
• Maintain grounds free of litter and debris
• Support school events with needed equipment and setup
• Act as campus safety manager for traffic and emergencies
