Job summary

BASIS Benbrook is seeking a Facilities Coordinator to start ASAP. This on-site role focuses on repairs, preventive maintenance, safety systems, and coordinating third‑party vendors for a busy school campus.

You will manage work orders, support school events, oversee grounds maintenance, and assist the Head of Operations on special projects. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in facilities, strong communication, and the ability to lift 25–50 lbs and work independently.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred).
• 2+ years of facilities & building maintenance experience.
• Ability to lift 25–50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Repairs of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and safety systems.
• Respond to staff requests for maintenance, custodial services, equipment needs, and HVAC.
• Coordinate third party vendors for maintenance, custodial, HVAC repairs, landscaping and pest control.
• Ensure grounds are maintained free of litter and debris.
• Maintain files on work orders, proposals, and facilities-related documents.
• Support school events with needed equipment and setup.
• Act as campus safety manager for traffic and emergency response.
• Maintain Emergency preparedness program.
• Support the Head of Operations on other projects.
