Job summary

The University of North Carolina at Greensboro is seeking a Project Manager (Journey) in Facilities Design and Construction. This role leads multiple UNCG projects ranging from small to multimillion-dollar scopes, ensuring customer satisfaction and successful delivery.

Responsibilities include pre-design planning, development of project schedules and budgets, technical document reviews, and oversight of contracted design and construction services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline related to the area of assignment.
• Licensure by the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Engineers and Surveyors may be required.
• Degrees from appropriately accredited institutions.

Responsibilities

• Manage comprehensive and simultaneous project management of UNCG projects of various sizes.
• Duties include writing and creating project-related technical scoping documents, developing and managing schedules and budgets, and reviewing construction documents.
• Oversee and manage contracted design and construction services; ensure customer relations and satisfaction.
• Perform pre-design, advance planning, programming services, and administrative tasks related to contracts, payments, and records.

Education

Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline related to the area of assignment
