Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Five years of related supervisory or lead experience, preferably in a college setting.
• Valid Florida driver’s license.
• Knowledge of management, maintenance system operations, and building construction.

Responsibilities

• Provide general oversight of the Physical Plant Department for planning, budgeting, and coordinating facilities maintenance across campus sites.
• Manage day/evening maintenance at all campus sites and supervise clerical staff including performance evaluations.
• Prepare and monitor the physical plant budget in a fiscally responsible manner aligned with the College mission.
• Provide technical direction on proposals, specifications, and construction standards; ensure compliance with regulations.
• Oversee 24/7 on-call maintenance and coordinate contracted services to improve efficiency and energy conservation.
