Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years experience in facilities management, maintenance, or a related field.
• CFM or related certification is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance, custodial, and groundskeeping practices.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Knowledge of building systems, landscaping, and custodial practices.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks and projects.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License and insurability under TSTC Liability Policy.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the custodial, maintenance, and grounds staff, providing direction, support, and performance feedback.
• Plan, schedule, and oversee routine maintenance work for roads, grounds, and buildings.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of maintenance operations; implement improvements as needed.
• Assist in development and management of the department budget; monitor inventory levels and order supplies.
• Promote safety; ensure compliance with regulations and provide training and resources.
• Respond to maintenance and custodial requests; liaise with stakeholders to ensure satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
